Classes
BASIC/REFRESHER PISTOL CLASS:
This is a basic/refresher handgun class that will cover firearm safety, parts of semi-automatics & revolvers, types of ammo, as well as how to shoot properly: stance, grip, trigger control, sight alignment/sight picture, etc. If you are not 100% confident with your pistol, this class is for you!
The $75 registration fee covers the class, range time and targets.
You will need to provide 50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun (we have pistols to rent) and protection for your eyes and ears.
While at the range the following clothing recommendations are designed to protect you from hot brass expended during firing:
-Baseball cap or some sort of brimmed hat
-No open-toed shoes
-No low-cut shirts or blouses (shirts with collars are preferred)
This class is a prerequisite to the CHL/LTC --
Concealed Handgun/License to carry class.
License To Carry
You are required to be proficient with your handgun in safe handling and loading of ammunition and clearing jams. This is NOT a beginners firearms course, though we do offer a basic/refresher pistol class. During the class portion we will cover the legal aspects of concealed/open carry, practical aspects of concealed/open carry, safe firearm handling and storage, state reciprocity and unilateral proclamations, the use of force/deadly force and nonviolent dispute resolution. There is a 50 round proficiency test.
The $75 registration fee covers the class, range fees and target.
You will need to provide at MINIMUM 50 rounds of ammunition for you handgun (we have pistols to rent) and protection for your eyes and ears. While at the range the following clothing recommendations are designed to protect you from hot brass expended during firing:

There are four steps involved in getting your Texas -LTC-License to Carry:
-Take and pass a 4-6 hour class, plus shooting qualification
-Complete the Texas DPS online application and affidavits by going to https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp
-Get your electronic fingerprints ($10)
-Send your final packet in to DPS ($40) (It usually takes 4-6 weeks to receive your license from the DPS)
Basic Self Defense
Our approach to self defense is based on Real-World tactics that work. With years of Martial Arts Training and Fighting, it becomes apparent that some techniques work and many others do not.
We will teach you the simple techniques that work. These are the techniques that our Special Warfare Units are taught to protect themselves in real world combat situations.
Basic Self Defense is a 3 hour course which includes basic methods of self defense and or escape in the event of an attack. The cost is $50 per student or $85 for two attending together.
